2 year old girl mistakes a man for Santa Claus and mom is very moved to hear her reaction

The 2 year old girl saw an elderly man and approached him thinking he was Santa Claus. The man’s reaction and their conversation were absolutely adorable.

One of the absolute idols of children is without a doubt Santa Claus. Their faces light up when they meet Santa, whether it’s at a Christmas market or at home in the living room on Christmas Eve.

One such moment was captured on film two years ago when a family was in a supermarket doing Christmas shopping. Their 2-year-old daughter suddenly puts a finger over her mouth and exclaims, “Shh, it’s Santa!”

She had actually spotted a man with a white beard who looked very much like the figure she expects to appear through the chimney soon.

After some encouragement from her father, Sophie dared to go ahead and talk to the man, who turned out to be named Roger Larck.

“Santa?” asked Sophie as she approached the man.

“I’ve been called worse,” Roger replies.

And then continues an adorable conversation that Sophie will remember forever.

Sophie shows “Santa” her beautiful nails and tells him to expect cookies when he arrives at their house. He asks if all the cookies will be for him, but she quickly says that he can only have one. The rest will be for the reindeer, although shortly after she says this she remembers that they usually only eat grass.

“Yes, but at the North Pole it’s pretty hard to find it,” he replies.

The girl’s older sister filmed the moment and it’s really adorable!
