We all know that life is full of challenges for everybody. It is harder, when challenges are connected with your loved ones, friends and family. This very touching story is about the love between sister and brother. They had to go through so much in a very young age.

The story begins with Meagan and Laurence Collard who are a married couple from Australia who had two sons named Franklin and Cayden, but they always dreamt about having a baby girl. The boys also loved that idea and waited for her.

And that happy day for their family came and they welcomed Piper in their family. It was the biggest dream of them and they were just the happiest in the world.

Piper grew up and was a very pretty girl. The family loved each other so much and everything was fine  until Piper began vomiting and developed a fever. Her parents immediately did everything that was needed and took their daughter to a gastroenterologist and did all the test that were needed.

Her diagnose was ear infection. For treating the infection, she was given prescribed medication. But unfortunately, Piper’s condition kept getting worse and worse.

Everything was hopeless when  doctors discovered a lump on Piper’s stomach condition of which was very serious. And after a blood test they discovered  neuroblastoma too, which is a form of cancer.

Unfortunately there was already nothing to do with it and the family prepared for worst. Piper was only 11 months, but was already fighting for her life by going through five sessions of chemo.

June 17th of 2019 was the day when doctors told her parents, that the situation was out of control and on June 20th she sadly passed away…

It was a very huge loss for their family, but they tried to stay strong. Her brother Cayden who was only fove-years old, carried her casket and understood that it was his last time holding his  little sister. Siblings experienced their love very short next to each other. They were now far, but their  love will stay forever.
