A 65-year-old pensioner from Germany gave birth to quadruplets in 2015. How do they look now?

This story is about Annegret Raunigk who has worked as a foreign language teacher for most of her life, in Germany and now has retired. When she had a lot of free time, the mother of thirteen children suddenly realized that she wanted to have another child. Her youngest child was 9 years old at that moment, but she explained that she wanted to see another kid grow, hear a child’s laugh and have that feelings again.

In order to feel like a mother for the 14th time and see the first steps in life of another child, the 65-year-old pensioner decided to resort to medicine. She did not dare to do such procedures at this age, so in 2014 Annegret went to one of the clinics in Ukraine. After a series of analyzes, experts set a date for the upcoming event.

All procedures were carried out successfully, Annegret became pregnant and returned home to Berlin. At the 21st week of pregnancy, she had an ultrasound scan, the results of which made it clear that instead of one baby, four would be born at once and that was the most shocking news of her life for sure.

She didn’t expect it at all, but after the shock she was happier than ever. She immediately hurried to please her older children by sending them a photo of the ultrasound result.

In 2015, Annegret gave birth to quadruplets – three boys and one girl. The addition to the family came ahead of schedule, so the kids spent several months in the clinic before heading to cozy beds in their room.

Having become the mother of four children at once at such an advanced age, Annegret immediately became a local celebrity and everyone recognized her. Film crews of major TV channels were present at most of the family holidays of the “young” mother and everyone were interested in  everything connected with that family.

Realizing that with so many children, Annegret would be crowded in a Berlin apartment, she moved to a spacious house in the province. Now Annegret is already 72 years old, her eldest son is 50 years old, and the youngest quadruplets are seven each.

Annegret often gives interviews where she says that her kids help her stay and feel young and beautiful. Next to them, she feels 40 years younger. The woman has seven grandchildren, three of whom are about the same age as her children. Together they often go for walks in the park and visit entertainment centers. It is never boring in their family.

And although there are no fresh photos of Annegret now, the German media still often mention the name of the woman in their publications and claim that everything is fine in a large family!
