Everyone maybe thought about their last wish. Many people would especially have one final request if they were to turn off. It can be seeing all your loved ones for example, a specific meal or, like this veteran: saying goodbye to your beloved dog Patch.

John Vincent was in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. The 69-year-old was taken to a veterans hospital. Because no family lived nearby, her dog was cared for by an official animal welfare association in Albuquerque, USA.

A spokesperson, Adam Ricci, told that’s normal in such cases. However, the circumstances were slightly different this time. The doctors explained to Adam that John Vincent didn’t have much time to live, maybe a few days. When he knew about that he had one last wish…

It was to see his beloved dog Patch. Petch was taken to the hospital for their emotional reunion. The little four-legged friend was sitting on his master’s bed. The love between the two was evident in their eyes. Everyone in the hospital were touched.

Doctors said that they left Patch with Mr. Vincent, so they could spend one last day together and it was so hard for them to see all that.

Their story went viral and different people offered to adopt Patch. Luckily, it didn’t take long to find a loving home for the four-legged friend, who found a new owner and is now again surrounded with lots of love.
