A neighbor opens the door and sees a 5-year-old boy holding a 2-month-old baby and asking for help.

We all have a part of memory from our childhood when we had to do something for the first time without our parents. Sometimes at that first time we don’t know how to act and we are just getting lost. This 5 year old hero from Arizona could save his mother by acting on instincts. It is worth mentioning that he did all of that without any instruction or help.

Everything started with Salvatore Cicalese who was in bed and heard strange noises coming right from the bathroom. He walked in and saw how his mother was slumped on the ground of the bathroom and she was unresponsive. And here he shows his “skills”. Instead of screaming an panicking, as many kids and adults would do, he did very smart things.

The child wrapped his two-month-old sister in a warm blanket, and carried her to the living room. Then, he pushed a bar stool to the garage. He did that to reach the switch for the garage door. And what he did next was walking all the way to their neighbor’s house with his baby sister in his hands.

Jessica Penoyer was their neighbor. She was not expecting to see him with his baby sister. She was very surprised to see them at her front door especially in the middle of the night.

The smart boy then told that something was wrong with his mom and he thought it would be correct to come to her. Penoyer hearing all of that  quickly called 911.

Soon the unconscious woman was found in her bathroom. Everything could have ended in the worst way but the child did everything on time. Kaitlyn Cicalese then talked about how his son saved her life and she is so proud to have him in her life.

As it turned out Kaitlyn suffered a seizure. Katlyn just wanted to shower after a long difficult day, but couldn’t imagine that everything would happen that way. And then she remembers only being in hospital.

The hero of this story was then given a certificate, a helmet, and a patch for being so smart and acting like a grown-up person, who also protected her baby sister.
