A one-armed girl and a kitten without a paw. The story of their acquaintance and friendship

Sometimes life gives us challenges despite our age or social condition. This two-year-old girl named Scarlett suffers from a very rare form of cancer, due to which she had to amputate her arm.

The girl understands that she is not like everyone else. Her one and only dream that she knew was possible to come true was to live with a pet who would understand her pain and support her emotionally. But things ended up in a more beautiful way than she thought it would.

Scarlett’s parents knew that their daughter loved cats very much and dreamed about having a one. They thought it would be a great idea to find a kitten that was also missing one or more legs. It would show their daughter that she is not alone in this world and she is an ordinary human being. But in most cases, such animals are not taken to shelters, but they prefer to euthanize them so as not to waste time and money on treatment, the family could not find a suitable cat.

One day, Scarlett’s parents heard the story of Doki the cat on television. The family had to spend a lot of time trying to find out which shelter Doc lived in. They all came there together so that Scarlett could get to know the cat.

They immediately hit it off. The girl put her hand on the cat, and the cat, in response, put its paw on the place where the girl’s hand was missing. Both Scarlett and Doka have special braces installed, and they immediately understood what was wrong.

Seeing all that was happening, Scarlett’s parents immediately realized that the cat would be the perfect friend for their daughter. They took Doku home, and now Scarlett always has someone to spend time with.

A special bond has been established between the cat and the girl, which is understandable only to both of them. They can play with each other for hours and spend days together. Doc is a very active and mobile cat, and the absence of a paw is not at all an obstacle to a full-fledged cat life. This is how the life of the special girl and the special cat crossed and their created a beautiful friendship together becoming soulmates.
