A son found a letter from his mother 13 years after her death in which she predicted his future life

Thirteen years after his death, the boy found a letter that later became a great motivation in helping others.

Lamar Roberts lost his mother at age four. Doctors diagnosed the girl with cancer. The boy became interested in basketball at an early age and dreamed of becoming a professional athlete.

His mother’s message, discovered at the age of seventeen, literally became prophetic.

“Growing up, don’t give up on your dream of becoming a professional basketball player. Please, son, remember to take care of your family and be polite to those around you.”

At this point, the boy is twenty-eight years old. He is a member of the National Basketball League of England. According to Lamar Roberts, it was only after discovering the letter from his late mother that he began to think about how to live his life.

“I remember that letter in detail. It literally pushed me into action.”

The young athlete has also taken up philanthropy. Lamar Roberts is a founding member of the Emerging Athletes Foundation. The foundation’s program also includes improving athletic fields, which he hopes will encourage people to get involved in sports.
