After 90 years the man left on doorstep as a newborn reunited with his biological family. His Christmas wish that came true

This is the story of a 90-year-old man from Pittsburgh. His Christmas wish for 2016 was finding his birth family. He never met them and wanted to do that as he was already 90 and was afraid to never met them in his life. His name is Jim Scott from Lafayette Hill. His story is very sad as he was left on a doorstep as a 12-day-old baby in 1932 in a small box.

Imagine how painful it was for him to think that he was rejected that way. But they view the situation from the other side too, and think that the family just was not able to provide and that is why they left the newborn in a better area in hope that he would find his best life. He found out about this story when he was already 19 and needed his birth certificate and saw that there was written “parents: unknown”. Fortunately,he grew up in a loving family and the news was not that shocking for the young boy.

Scott’s children always helped him trace his roots after finding out about their father’s wish. They took a DNA test in one of the largest genealogy company in the world, which has access to billions of historical records and DNA kits. Soon they found out that he had 14 siblings and 8 of them were alive.

Soon siblings found each other and started communicating, exchanging photos and facets of their lives. They met and Scott’s children spoke about their meeting too.
