An optical illusion that looks simple, but is actually amazing – what shape do you see in red?

In an optical illusion, you can see a lot of things. The most interesting thing about it is that what you see may not be what your friends see!  Example with this one that confused internet users and even celebrities!

The popular post was shared and the caption read: those with right-brain dominant will see a fish, while those with left-brain dominant will see a mermaid. We think we will all claim that this is actually very interesting and many of us would like to find out the truth about our brain. Especially when we know that 90% of the tests on the internet are actually true and give easy and quick answers about us that we didn’t even think of.

However, many people saw completely different animals and no fish or mermaids at all as it was expected!

We saw a donkey so we don’t know what that means. Even celebrities have expressed their opinion! British TV host Jonathan Ross chimed in when responding to author David Baddiel who also saw a donkey.

Ross said, “It’s a big seal lying on its back.”

Harry Potter author JK Rowling also spotted a donkey, with Hart Hanson adding: “If it’s a donkey, he’s wearing eyeliner.”

Many saw a donkey/seal rather than a fish or mermaid. It’s not clear if the image actually shows which side of your brain is dominant. We have some doubts about this. What do you see? Don’t forget to share this with your friends and ask them the same question!
