Nate Iszak loves everything to do with fishing. In the spring he decided to visit Alaska to fish. He was confident in his abilities and hoped for a good catch, however, his expectations were not met.

The American hooked an eel wolf. This underwater inhabitant has a rather formidable appearance. Despite this, the man was not fearful, in addition, the specimen is not aggressive, as it does not attack people.

This rare species can reach a length of up to two meters, and chooses gorges in caves as a home. It is nocturnal and feeds on mollusks, urchins, etc.

According to the fisherman, he had managed to catch an eel wolf before, but it was the first time he caught such a large specimen. The man also knows that eels can bite quite painfully, so he was very careful during the unplanned photo shoot.

I’ve met them once before, and I know that being sloppy can lead to a nasty bite.

After taking a couple of good shots, the eel was set free.
