We live in a world where people can express themselves more freely than ever—through fashion, hairstyles, tattoos, or other forms of body modification. Although acceptance is far from universal, there has never been a time in history with this much room for individuality.

Yet this freedom doesn’t always come with full acceptance. Many struggle to understand or tolerate those who push the limits of self-transformation—especially someone like Anthony Loffredo, the 35-year-old French man who aims to reinvent himself as a “Black Alien.”

A Shocking Transformation

Loffredo’s appearance draws attention everywhere he goes. According to various reports, many people react negatively—taxis refuse to pick him up, employers turn him away, and he often faces discrimination in everyday life.

But what exactly causes such reactions?

Loffredo has undergone extreme body modifications: he had his nose and ears removed, tattooed his skin and the whites of his eyes completely black, split his tongue, filed down his teeth, and even had two fingers amputated. He also had horn-like implants placed beneath his skull and had his skin burned with demonic patterns—all in pursuit of an “alien” appearance.

Pushing Beyond Human Limits

He once worked as a nightclub bouncer, but now he dedicates his life entirely to transforming his body. According to the Daily Mail, he considers himself only 65% through his “journey” and plans to amputate one of his legs to replace it with a biomechanical prosthetic.

In one British TV interview, Loffredo explained his relationship with his former appearance:

“Yes, I was happy—but not in my own body. That was not my body.”

On the Club 113 podcast, he added:

“The human body fascinates me—I draw inspiration from everything. No one truly knows what the body is capable of.”

Acceptance and Love Behind the Extremes

Though his appearance may shock many, Loffredo’s family eventually accepted his choices. He has also found love—he is currently in a relationship with model and tattoo enthusiast Melina Shakur.

Because many of these procedures are illegal in France, Loffredo often travels abroad to underground clinics to undergo them—sometimes under anesthesia in unofficial, risky conditions.

However, he recently announced that he plans to pause further modifications for a while.

“Right now, I want to focus on something real—not on how to keep altering myself,” he said in Spanish.

He and Melina are even considering having some tattoos removed.
