Blind man saw his wife’s and son’s faces for the first time in his life. Their emotions will touch you

The human’s ability to see is maybe one of the most important things tin the life. But unfortunately, not everyone in the world experiences it with 100%. This story is about one Colorado man who has a different experience and sees the world in a unique way. It is actually the biggest difficulty in his life, but with all of that he managed to meet the love of his life and have a baby boy.

Gene Purdie was 16 when he was diagnosed with Stargardt’s disease. It is a rare genetic eye disease as a result of which Purdie lost a significant amount of his vision and is considered legally blind. He sees the edges and not the center of his vision. And that is why he saw only the pieces of her wife’s and son’s faces and only in his imagination could assume what they look like.

This is when her wife Joy wrote to the “Rachael Ray” show in November 2015, after seeing how they recovered the sight of one girl with the help of special glasses. And soon they were invited to that show.

His husband tried that glasses and it was a very big moment for all of them, He looked at his wife and the first think he said was: “God, she’s pretty”. And that really melt the hearts of everyone in the studio. He had an opportunity to see his son for the first time and it was a really big moment in their life.
