Some dogs are expert rescuers. Moreover, firefighters and mountain rescue services often have them within their team to help them work better and faster. They are trained and can prove decisive. It is difficult to better describe our best companions than by the terms faithful and devoted friends. The images below from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England show yet another outstanding example of their fantastic work.

This is a volunteer organization dedicated to training rescue dogs to help those in need in the wild. Recently they posted a video on social media showing how important dogs are to us. The remote wilderness can be dangerous and scary, especially in places with avalanche hazard.

Avalanche dogs are able to find victims in the snow even if there are few scents to track. They are trained to search for people in the snow. During one of these exercises, a volunteer with a camera plunged into the snow. It wasn’t long before a muzzle appeared through the barrier of white snow.

Flo, a 4-year-old border collie, came to the rescue! He is an adorable rescue dog who, in addition to saving lives, melts our hearts. Take a look at the images below and don’t forget to share this special moment with your friends too.
