Bus driver saw an elderly woman attacked by a thief. This is what he did. VIDEO

If you witness an attempted theft, or an attack, you must call the emergency services immediately and, if possible, intervene to help the victim. Thieves are capable of attacking anyone, anywhere, day or night, and protecting against them is not always easy. The elderly and whom they consider the weakest are prime prey for them, but fortunately these offenders do not always get away with it.

A bus driver from the Hungarian town of Miskoic was on his normal route when he suddenly saw an elderly woman being mugged by a thief. The thief was trying to steal the woman’s purse while she diligently tried to defend herself with her cane.

However, the thief had not seen Zsolt Kis Károly, the bus driver, who had witnessed the scene. The bus driver immediately made a decision. He wanted to help the woman. So, he got out of the bus and chased the thief, and luckily he succeeded. As the thief quickly took to his heels, Zsolt got the shocked woman onto her bus and called the authorities.

He later told that he knew immediately he had to intervene.

“I saw a young man sneaking up behind the lady, and it looked like a robbery to me. I had to step in, but I couldn’t stop there. I parked the bus and, luckily, everything was recorded by the cameras on the bus” says the bus driver.

The bus security camera caught it all and shows what happened. Here it is below. Fortunately, this brave driver worked correctly and everything ended well.
