To tell the truth, it was created by Americans, but Singaporeans themselves have no special love for these animals, living on the same territory as them. Despite the enlightenment and sophistication of the French, their cruelty to stray cats does not lend itself to any reasonable explanation. The poor animals are accused of all deadly sins, including being obligatory carriers of disease, which is why they are diligently exterminated.

Some find parallels in this with the exterminations of cats, declared devil’s accomplices, which took place in medieval times. Moreover, there is a monstrous order in France – kittens not sold within a month must be put to sleep. At the same time, it seems especially surprising that the “refined French” are trying to preach “true human values” to the world.

Ireland

One of the most prosperous and peaceful countries in which people without any stereotypes and hatred for cats prefer to have dogs. There’s no special reason for that, just so it was historically established that the best friend of the Irish is definitely a dog. Of course, no one considers a cat an enemy simultaneously, but you can’t meet it as a pet in Irish homes very often. But older people, especially women, are quite eager to have cats, apparently considering dogs to be excessively active.
