Canines truly cry? It appears that a lot of people are considering this subject. Although they may be devoted and caring, do they truly care when a family member passes away? There are a lot of stories, it seems, that demonstrate that they grieve as well as caring. For a dog, death can be just as terrible as it is for you or me. When their masters are gone, they are lost.

The dog in this video is a therapy dog by the name of Wiley, and he is shown lying on the owner’s grandmother’s grave. The dog seemed to be utterly distraught by the loss of her grandma, with whom it was quite close.

In overall, this video is quite depressing and heartbreaking. Many people who are concerned about Wiley and others who are unsure of what to think about it saw it and left comments. Owner Sarah wrote a description of the video, including her thoughts on Wiley’s reaction.

It is apparently rather typical for dogs to experience grief over the loss of a loved one, as reported in several cases. There will be mood fluctuations for some people and perhaps depression for others. Dogs who exhibit depressive symptoms may eat less, drink less, and howl more frequently.

Although it hasn’t been demonstrated, I have no doubts about animals crying after watching these and similar videos. If not, why would a dog behave in this way? Check out the video bellow to see the touching scene…
