When a soldier received the news that his wife was giving birth, he frantically tried to go home to be with her during the special time. Unfortunately, his flight was delayed which prevented him from reaching the hospital in time and being with her.

Brooks Lindsey longed to be with his wife, Haley, during the final stages of her pregnancy. Since she had been admitted to the hospital for a checkup, they agreed together to induce labor that same day. Due to the baby’s health problems, the baby was born two weeks earlier than expected. In addition, Haley developed pre-eclampsia, a medical condition that required a quick delivery to avoid blood pressure complications.

Haley contacted the Red Cross to get in touch with Brooks and inform him of the urgency of the situation. Brooks was about to board a flight, but just before departure, he was told that Haley’s waters had broken. He later discovered that the flight was delayed by two hours, putting him in a difficult situation: deciding whether to leave immediately or look for an alternative. He was aware that he could not arrive in time to attend the birth.

Brooks’ mother sent him a video via FaceTime, allowing him to virtually watch the birth. As she recorded the moment, he watched everything that happened in the delivery room, a truly emotional moment that no one would ever forget. Watch the video bellow!
