Every evening he feeds the raccoons, because of her dead wife’s last wish

Losing a life partner is a very hard thing to overcome in life. We think of the person all the time and cherish their memories. This is about a couple who was very close and when the woman died, she had left indications to her husband.

James Blackwood is a Canadian YouTuber who has been feeding raccoons every night for almost ten years. He explained on YouTube:

“It was my wife’s project, she died in 2003 of cancer and begged me on her deathbed to take care of her raccoons.

And now, every evening, its porch is the meeting place for mammals for dinner. He shared a video of how he feeds a pack of raccoons that got comfortable and it went viral and gained a huge popularity. He indicates :

“It was snowing and outside was freezing. The raccoons were very hungry and knew they had to stock up to face the long winter.”

James is a former police officer, but now he is already retired. He enjoys this moment with the raccoons and loves other animals too. They have their habits. Every evening, wrapped up in a big coat when it’s cold, he shares hot dogs with the raccoons. They are always excited about it and know that they are not alone.

Raccoons are entitled to hot dogs, sausages but also chocolate cookies and dog food. And the rascals seem to be in heaven and of course James too! Watch and enjoy the video bellow!
