Father sees his 2-year-old son climbing the protected pool and alerts parents

Every year we deplore child drownings, at the beach but they happen also in swimming pools. Normally, they should be secure, but even if they are, you have to be careful anyways. 2-year-old Cody’s dad knows this and shared a chilling video.

The Wyman family lives in Attleboro, Massachusetts, USA. Having a swimming pool on his property, Keith made sure to use a protection system so that his 2-year-old son could not go into the water alone and put himself in danger. He therefore invested in an impassable ladder to prevent the little ones from climbing the steps to jump into the water.

But, as you can see in the video below, the ingenuity of children is endless. Seeing his son manage to climb, Keith felt devastated. He and his wife Tonya decided to film the little one to show how strong children are and can overcome protections.

They let Cody do it for a few seconds then Tonya quickly picked up the little one who obviously wanted to continue his climb. Keith explained that they had made this decision to show parents why they should always be vigilant when a child is near a swimming pool or anywhere near the water.

As this dad suggests, children have more strength than you think. You don’t have to underrate their power and logic. This video has already been viewed millions of times. The family brought the protection ladder back to the store, which offered them another product of the same kind. They refused it and will contact the manufacturer to obtain a safe product for children.
