Interesting For 25 years, no one has entered the old warehouse. They found abandoned new BMWs in it (6 photos) by Impress story 10.12.2022 10.12.2022 124 views Share 0FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinTumblrRedditWhatsappTelegram The beginning of 2019 was marked in the automobile world by loud news, which literally in a few days spread all over the world. It is not strange, because in Bulgaria, directly in the city of Blagoevgrad, was found an old warehouse with lost in time cars BMW 5 series family E34. According to the sources, a group of young people climbed into the abandoned place and looked into another hangar. There were 11 cars standing in the pitch-black darkness of the old room, and after removing the cover, they discovered this treasure. Later, the local authorities, along with the police, figured out the very spot and, upon opening the old hangar, were very surprised. A total of 11 cars were found behind the gates of the freestanding box: 10 sedans and one 1994 station wagon. But, most surprisingly, some of the cars were brand new and some with minimal mileage and all of them were in perfect condition. Most of the cars were painted red or black and had been carefully stored indoors under cloaks. As local authorities later stated, the cars were not registered for use. In addition, they were not properly documented and had no duties or VAT paid on them. Actually, that is why they cannot be registered as new cars in the future. But the authorities were faced with the main question – why were these cars bought and what were they for, and how did they end up in this warehouse and were they really forgotten? And by the way, these questions even today remain unanswered. After a little digging in the archival documents was made a few suggestions as a BMW 5 Series entered the warehouse. According to one version, they were purchased in the 90s to serve foreign delegations, but by a friend, these cars were designed for the first Bulgarian car rental service. But then again the question arises why no car ever went on the road and, strange as it may sound, no one has been able to answer it. After examining the cars, it was astonishing that the interior of most of them was covered with a factory film, and the engine, suspension and transmission were in perfect condition. Besides, several cars had small defects, which were caused by unsuitable storage conditions, and of course, time. Even so, we can confidently say that the cars are in very, very good condition.
