Humans have tamed animals for a long time and live with them for millions of years. They get along great and mostly are best friends. And the stories of their friendship are described in many films and movie plots. Today we will talk about how a man found a calf in Latvia.

Erikas lives near the forest. And next to the gate of his site he found an animal. At first he did not understand who exactly was in front of him, but then he guessed that it was a small elk.

The female was severely emaciated. She was dehydrated, dirty, and pesky flies swirled around her. The man did not endure this heartbreaking picture, he wanted to help the defenseless animal. The young man was afraid to frighten off the elk cub, but the calf was so weak that he could not even move. Obviously, even with a strong desire, he could not escape.

Then he took the animal in his arms and began to take care of her with all his warmth. First of all, he brought her warm milk to quench her thirst and give her at least a little strength. Erikasu suggested that the mother of the calf was killed by hunters, and she miraculously escaped from them. In order for the moose cow to come to her senses, the man fed her every four hours. He promised himself that an animal was coming out.

Moose felt safe. She was on the mend quickly. And with the rescue of the animal, an unusual friendship began between a man and a moose cow. As soon as the female recovered, Erikas did not hold her, but decided to release her. He is sure that animals should not live in captivity. But from time to time, as a token of gratitude for the salvation of the moose cow, they come to visit the man. And this behavior touched him. He did not know that animals could be so devoted.
