Grandfather not refusing to carry his autistic grandson, even though he is now 17

The children each have a personality, habits that they like and finally their own rhythm of life. Those with conditions like autism may have different needs and being there for them, understanding them, is very important for their life quality. Fernando is a loving grandfather who has always been there for his grandson Enzo. The teenager is autistic and loves being carried by his darling grandpa.

Grandparents are often extremely attached to their grandchildren. They love showing affection, love and attention. They sometimes even allow things they didn’t allow their own children and that is a common thing for grandparents. The years pass but the relationship endures, as in the case of this young teenager and his grandfather.

Both live in Brazil and since he was little this autistic child has been pampered by his family. And even now, when he’s grown up, he still wants to be carried by his beloved grandpa. And the grandfather accepts that fact without any problem. Lages Handiara, who posted his photos, pointed out that this grandfather had a lot of energy, love and a desire to enjoy as much time as possible with his grandson.

“Fernando Murta is still carrying our 17-year-old autistic boy Enzo, who asks to be carried and the grandfather does.” Lages wrote in the post.

They love to dance to Andrea Bocelli, gospel and traditional songs. The grandfather also tries to play with his grandson, makes him do activities and their relationship is very strong. Enzo and Fernando’s bond went viral in 2019, when Lages first shared photos of his family. Years later, the duo remains inseparable and this is a fundamental element for this teenager.

The love of grandparents is something important and this story proves it once more. We must take advantage of our loved ones as long as they are there.
