He held his daughter for only 45 minutes. The story of a big family

Children are wonderful in every way possible, They appear and completely change a person’s life. So we can say that it is the most important day of every parent’s life.

Growing up with parents is beautiful, your memories are bright and clean, but the hero of this story, who was just a newborn was meant to meet her father only once in her life. It is a very sad fact but he hold his baby one only last time.

He is Mark Aulger who held his daughter only for forty-five minutes. It was the first day when she was born so it was something very touching for the family. The girl was named Savannah. Mark fell into a coma the day when their daughter was only 2 days old, and unfortunately some days later, he sadly passed away.

 Mark suffered from cancer since 2011. Everything started then in January 3, 2012 when they were waiting for their fifth child. Mark was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which is a lung disease caused by damaged tissue.

In January 16 of 2012 things already began to take a turn for the worse and the family was waiting for a sad news. It was only two weeks till Savannah would be born and they already knew that treatments weren’t working. His time was not so much.

 Savannah’s mother really hoped that Mark would meet his daughter. An in January 18 of 2012 Diana gave birth. Mark’s condition was already so bad but oxygen levels were high enough so he was able to hold Savannah for forty-five minutes.

 Those forty-five minutes were the most emotional for all of them. They cried but also felt a little happy deep in their heart that Mark at least had a little chance to meet his newborn before he passed away.

And it happened in January 23,2012, He was in a bad condition after the birth of her daughter and only could hear her voice but it was enough for him and Diana claims that it was the only voice to force him move a little bit.

His family definitely told their daughter about how strong dad she had. The family supported each other and tried to comfort but for all of them overcoming Mark’s death very difficult. Little Savannah here also helped everyone and made them loom to life positively again.

The story of this family is full of sadness. The father and daughter had only spent 45 minutes together and the saddest part is that the father knew it was their last. But as we said it was also a little opportunity for him since the circumstances were like that.
