For example, a little dog from Suwalki, Poland, who was later nicknamed “Farsik,” could only be saved by his desperate barking, the only way he could tell people that he needed urgent help. Fortunately for Farsik, his incessant barking was heard by the workers, who at first could not understand what the dog was doing in the woods. It cost the people a lot of trouble to locate little Farseek among the trees and bushes, but the dog wouldn’t stop barking and was eventually found. Attempts to free Farsik The dog, however, could not be helped. It turned out that he had fallen into a puddle of tar, which someone had unlawfully poured into the woods. The tar quickly got cold and the dog became stuck to it with his whole body, trapping him to death. It proved difficult to free him, and animal rights activist Joanna Godlewski was called in to help the poor fellow, who, although she did not unglue the dog, found a way out of the difficult situation by contacting the fire department. By working together, people managed to help the unfortunate Farsik – though to do this, they had to cut off some of his hair. Haircut The dog was then taken to a veterinary clinic, where the remaining tar was washed off him. Almost There The dog appeared to be perfectly healthy and unharmed, and all he needed was a repeated wash. The problem was handled by Joanna Godlewski, who temporarily took Farseek in hopes of finding him a new home later. She was confident that she could cope with the task – especially since soon the overgrown Farsik turned into a very cute little dog with a kind and cheerful character. Farsik is now a house dog And so it turned out: the dog, rescued four years ago, now lives with a loving family.
