How a cat got her owner out of a coma at the cost of her life

The incredible abilities of cats have long been the subject of study by specialists and a mystery to ordinary people. But so far no scientific explanation has been found. What about a cat’s ability to find its way home through hundreds of kilometers? And sometimes the animal does not even use the path that carried him, and the shortest. Cats’ eyesight can only be envied – they have no problem looking at the sun and perfectly see in the dark. But perhaps the most interesting ability is to help people get rid of the disease.

So one cat literally imposed itself on its owner, when she was very young. The woman went to the store for groceries, when she suddenly discovered that she was being followed by a very young kitty. The animal stubbornly accompanied the woman to the store, and when she came out with her purchases, she continued her persistent pursuit. It was winter outside, and the compassionate aunt decided to pick up the pitifully meowing creature. She brought the cat home and named her Lucy. Washed and fed, Lucia relaxed in the warmth and fell asleep almost immediately.

Over time, the cat and her rescuer established a powerful relationship. The cat would practically never leave her owner’s side when she was home. The woman also loved Lucy so much that even her fairly mature children were jealous of their mother’s cat. But not everything happens so smoothly in this life. A few years later, when Lucas had already grown into a cat, her owner had an accident at work – she was injured when she fell and hit her head. From the blow, the woman fell into a coma and was in the hospital for a long time, but the treatment had no positive results. Doctors made fruitless attempts to bring the patient to her senses but in vain. At home, the absence of her beloved mistress Lyuska tormented her, she just could not eat, sleep, and even sit quietly in place, the cat’s anxiety was so evident – she became thin and exhausted.

Lucy tried to climb into the bag, which the children were going to the hospital to his mother to get at last to his savior, but, of course, cats are not allowed in the hospital, so Lucy was left at home. In utter despair, when the doctors predicted the possibility of a negative outcome soon, the children urged the doctor exceptionally to bring their mother her pet to say goodbye. Once in the ward, Lucia immediately climbed onto her mistress’s chest and lay down there. The cat practically did not move for two days, no one drove her, and the condition of the mistress remained the same. But on the third day, Lucy died without leaving her “post” and the woman regained consciousness.

This event shocked not only the family in which lived such an extraordinary cat, but the staff and patients at the hospital. They buried Lucy in the garden, near the house of her mistress, who remembered for the rest of her life that the act of her beloved cat, once rescued by her, brought her back to life. After Lucy, the woman no longer had cats, keeping the memory of her pet. What gift an ordinary backyard cat possessed remained a mystery.
