Joshua Ferguson, a veteran from Tennessee in the United States, lost his leg. Recently he met a little dog who also lost a paw. Seeing something similar like that can make anyone so emotional…

The heartbreaking story of Scooter

This little dog, now named Scooter, was found by fishermen in critical condition. They even thought that the dog didn’t have a chance to live anymore. His paw was very damaged and bloody at the moment when he was found. The dog suffered from pain. People made a decision to take him in immediately. They quickly took him to a shelter where volunteers and the veterinarian did everything in their power to save Scooter’s life.

His new condition

No one knew the reason his paw was in that condition. Fortunately, the dog did very well. He now lives with three legs, since he had to be amputated. It was so difficult for him at first, but he was such a strong and brave dog. He already is used to it and lives better life. Specialists say that if the paw wasn’t amputated in time the dog couldn’t survive. But the important thing is that now he is alright!

The other destiny

Veteran Joshua Ferguson, meanwhile, lost his leg during a difficult operation. Indeed, he was seriously injured when the car he was in ran over a bomb which exploded. He had no choice but to be amputated. It was so stressful period for him. As we can see, the destiny of Joshua and Scooter was the same, they were made for each other. They are now walking in the same direction despite what they have experienced on their own.

Soulmates

It was very recently that Joshua met Scooter. When the man heard about this little dog, he immediately knew he wanted to adopt him with no hesitation. Generally dogs with disabilities wait a long time for a family to adopt them, since they require more attention and care than dogs with no health problems. But Scooter was so lucky to find his friend for life so easily. They became so close in a short period of time. Today, they live happily and take care of each other.
