This story is about a woman whose name is Halima Cisse and the nonuplets that she has given birth to in May of 2021. The family is from Mali but Cisse had to be transported to Morocco for giving birth there and receive specialized care because it was a very rare and difficult pregnancy. Fortunately, everything went well and all of them were alright and healthy. Nadya Suleman was the woman who gave birth to 8 babies in 2009 and Cisse’s case was a new record.

The family was shocked at first, of curse, from the unexpected new, but they were so happy to welcome five girls and four boys in their beautiful family. The names of the girls are: Hawa, Fatouma, Oumou, Adama and Kadidia, and the boys are named Mohamed, Elhadji, Oumar and Bah. Theirweight was between 1.1 and 2.2 pounds at birth, and the reason of them being small is obvious.

Cisse’s husband is Kader Arby who wanted to be there with her wife for that difficult day in their life, when they didn’t even know if the babies would survive, but he flew to Morocco later, and after that had to be isolated for 10 days, for the safety of his family. The couple also has a toddler-aged daughter whose name is Souda.

And another interesting fact about this, is that Cissie was told that she was going to have seven babies, because it would be shocking for her to  immediately know about nine babies, it would be emotionally very difficult for her, but she is happy about how everything went and is the happiest mother in the world.
