As you may know Yakutia is the coldest place to exist on earth. Temperature there drops  to -96 degrees Fahrenheit. How do people live there? Interesting right? Here’s a telling of a woman living there, she explains how she makes it through in that cold conditions.

As we already mentioned in Yakutia, also in Siberia, temperature from time to time drops -71 degrees Celsius or -96 degrees in Fahrenheit. It is nothing else than the coolest place on earth that can also be inhabited and have a living creature on it.

It is obvious that we are getting used to the climate and weather conditions that we are living in. And residents of Yakutia are not an exception. They are used to the harsh cold, surrounded with iced water.

This land is Located a few hundred miles outside the Arctic Circle, The Republic of Sakha, known also as Yakutia. By the way t is the largest republic in Russia’s territory.

Woman says that you just can not survive without hats and thick coats, boots, gloves. So, You have to do everything to avoid  being damaged from the unimaginable cold. Its is simple: You have to be prepared to save your life.

The cold for the residents of Yakutia, who live in Yakutia for so long, is nothing more than just a regular weather. They go for a walk, they even have open markets and are standing there selling fish, meet and always mention that they don’t need any freezer for doing that. They can stand and sell them the whole day, and the cold wind won’t bother them.

As you might already guess, ice fishing is one of their favorite and fun things to do in Yakutia. They also do ice swimming, for which you have to be professionally and very good prepared.

This is how the life in the coldest place on earth is like. Residents are used to it and just live an ordinary life, as they would live in somewhere else, just doing a different thing.
