IT’S BEEN 37 YEARS: HOW THE CAST OF “POLICE ACADEMY” HAS CHANGED

The time flies so fast and things are getting older and older. Our favorite TV series and films and their actors are getting old too. One of them- The series “Police Academy” is already 37 years old. It was first released on screen in March 1984 in the USA. The audience loved and still loves this series so much remembering the phrases and even using them in their speech.

So let’s see the transformation of actors from our favorite series. How much have they changed their appearance in 37 years and would you still recognize them if you saw them in another series.

Sharon Stone – journalist Claire Mattson (age 63)

She was playing as a journalist. We saw her only in 4 parts of the series.

George Gaines – Eric Lassard (1917-2016)

He played the head of the police academy. His character was a little bit stupid minded but respected at the same time. The actor sadly passed away in 2016 when he was 98 years old.

Steve Guttenberg – Cadet Carey Mahone (62)

Steve’s character was one of the mains in the series. But then he almost didn’t have any other big roles.

Kim Cattrall – Cadet Karen Thompson (age 64)

The series made her famous. She wasn’t known before the series was on screens. She was also one of the beloved characters.

George Bailey – Lieutenant Thaddeus Harris (aged 76)

Now the actor as most of them is not filming anywhere else. He runs  a Foundation, which takes care of children with cancer and is so respected by everyone.

Marion Ramsey – Cadet Laverne Hooks (1947-2021)

She showed her here as a singer and composer who wrote many songs. But unfortunately she passed away in January 2021. She was 73 years old.

Leslie Easterbrook – Sergeant Debbie Callahan (age 71)

She stayed so pretty and aged beautiful right?
