Kelly Clarkson broke down into tears during “Go rest high on that mountain”

Singing and dedicating your song to someone, is very emotional and touching, especially when they are no longer with you… Recently Kelly Clarkson performed a song in honor of one of her close friends who passed away. The song choice was by Vince Gill.

Clarkson is known for letting her fans decide which song to sing. It is always makes them happy and they really feel that they are a part of the concert. Kelly herself enjoys that process as she tells. One of her favorite songs that she always sings in every tour is “Purple Rain” by Prince and fans already know that they are going to hear it and wait for that song.

This concert took place on the final night of her “Stronger” tour. This time she broke the rule and said that she wanted to decide which song was going to be the next and she announced “Go Rest High On That Mountain”. The song was dedicated to one of her close friends, who was also the uncle of one of the guitarists of the band.

It is just insane to feel their energy, emotions and thoughts from behind the screen. She feels every note she is singing, maybe that is why her audience is always emotionally connected with her while her performances. It is just something magical and amazing.
