No one wanted to take this sad dog home, but here is what happened to him later

The story begins with sad situation for one family and their dog who were left without house. It was a very hard period in their life, they lost their house and had no place to stay. It was hard for them to leave Corky, and Ritter, their dogs, behind in the local shelter, where they were warmly taken in. The family, unfortunately, didn’t have any other choice.

At least they knew that their dogs are safe and are surrounded with love of workers. The Humane Society of Hamilton County took them in warmly and were happy to welcome their new members of a big family. They did everything in their power to help them out and overcome the hard emotional time of being away from their loving family.

The brothers were not used to their new environment. They were sad, heartbroken, especially Ritter. Just imagine how they just left their lovely house and appeared in shelter without any explanation, they just didn’t know what happened and what was going on.

As shelter workers explain, the dogs needed a forever home because they were already used to living like that and being surrounded with love and always being in the center of attention. They knew that otherwise they are going to be sad for a long time before getting used to their new life, which is a big trauma and emotional difficulty for dogs.

And the awaited day came. The picture of dogs was shared in Facebook and the adoption requests came in quickly. Sophie Spenia was one of the people who saw Ritter’s photo. As she tells, as soon as she came across the post, she knew that she would have to take him in right away. He was the perfect dog for her and it was love from first sight.

And it was reciprocal, and Ritter loved Sophie from the moment he laid eyes on her. Shelter workers were so happy to see that, and see Ritter happy again! Now they are the best of friends and can’t imagine their lives without each other. The sad beginning is fortunately gone and both dogs are now happy living their best life.
