Paralyzed girl surprised everyone at her wedding – she was able to walk to the altar on her own

Since childhood, every girl imagines the moment of walk to the altar at her wedding. It is a really special moment for them, and every girl enjoys and dreams of it. But unfortunately, Jackie Goncher, at the age of 25, could not do this as many people around the world.

The story makes more special the fact, that she has been a former athlete and it was a big part of her life. But everything came to an end, when, at the age of 17 she received a spinal injury. It was a really serious injury, which was lifechanging for her. She ended up on a wheelchair. Jackie never lost her hope though the doctors didn’t say anything certain about her situation.

The brave girl did everything possible to get back on her feet and prove everyone that she is strong. And she managed to astonish the doctors. That day came and she got up from her chair one day! This short moment was decisive in her life.

Her wedding was close, and her goal was to be well prepared for that special day and walk to the altar standing on her own. She trained day and night and there was a result! The bride got up and went, while all the guests were waiting for her on a wheelchair. It was a complete shock for them.
