People were shocked to see the woman in danger taking selfies

Some areas become very dangerous in winter and people should be more attentive sometimes. It is especially about rivers or lakes. We want to share with you with the case of the Rideau River in Canada.

The footage shows a yellow car speeding through ice. A reckless choice, because shortly after the car sank into the ice. Below you can see what happened. As the car sank, the driver climbed onto the roof of the vehicle. Meanwhile, passers-by rush to rescue her with a kayak and ropes. However, the woman herself seemed in no hurry and decided to take a selfie.

Thanks to the quick actions of passers-by, the woman was rescued in time. Seconds later, the car sank. Ottawa police confirmed the driver was rescued by neighbors and said the woman has been charged with dangerous driving. “There is no safe ice” police said.
