They both ended up in one of the shelters in New York. Abbi was the one who was adopted the first and it didn’t even take long. And Abe once caught the eye of John Handem Piette, a shelter worker. He was with the group of pooches in the shelter. John loved how he looked and as he mentioned later, one of the first things he noticed were his eyes. There was something very special about them that he couldn’t describe with words. He was an active puppy full of life and energy. That fact of course made everyone upset but the best was yet to come. Anyway, they couldn’t understand what was the reason of that.
