“She called me for help.” How a girl saved a horse from a quagmire

If you have ever had to pull something out of a swamp, then you understand what hard work it is, and how great the risk of falling into a quagmire yourself is. No wonder all the children in the villages are told to stay away from such places as far as possible.

What would you do if you heard plaintive cries coming straight from the swamp? The heroine of our story had to make a choice – to ignore the sounds or risk her life and go to help someone who fell there.

The young girl was just walking around the outskirts of the village, thinking about something of her own, when suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by a loud neighing. At first, she did not pay much attention to that – there are many horses in the village, and you will not surprise anyone here with a sudden neighing.

But she realized something was wrong there… The neighing did not stop and seemed to grow louder and more plaintive with every second. The girl, having gathered all her will into a fist, went in search of the source of the sound.

The day was cloudy and she had to peer into every bush to see anything. Now all the girl’s thoughts were occupied only with what had happened there. Suddenly she noticed a horse’s head sticking out of the swamp. The quagmire has already almost completely sucked in the poor animal.

The girl couldn’t leave the horse to die. But it was impossible to cope here alone – a person himself is far from always able to get out of the quagmire, what can we say about pulling someone out?

The girl decided to call rescuers and fully relied on them. The horse’s breathing became more and more difficult, and the poor man almost did not call for help. The head of the animal is almost completely hidden under water. Most likely, the horse has been in this trap for a very long time and has not eaten anything for a long time. It seemed that now he had given up all hope of getting out.

In ancient times, peasants would definitely not save a single animal that fell into a swamp – the risk of falling into it yourself is too great. Fortunately, the rescuers did not refuse the girl and quickly arrived at the scene. There were five of them, and they all adhered to an unequivocal position – to fight for the life of any living creature.

Brave men began to pull out the horse, and after a few hours he was rescued from the quagmire and taken to the veterinarian, who assured everyone that her health was no longer in danger. Everything ended well.

People are always in a hurry somewhere, they are immersed in their thoughts and often prefer to pretend that nothing is happening. Fortunately, the heroine of this story was not like that. Hearing screams coming from the swamp, she decided to go to the rescue and did not ignore someone else’s misfortune. The lifeguards were also generous and helpful people. They could refuse to come and offer the girl to figure everything out herself.

Nobody pays them extra for helping animals, and they also get into the news only after saving people. But all these men, fortunately, were of the opinion that there is no difference in who needs to be saved – a person or an animal. The life of any living being is important.

Remember: you can not treat someone else’s misfortune indifferently. Even if it is not a person who needs help, but an animal. Never remain indifferent where you can help. It is thanks to the efforts of caring people that the horse from our history can now continue to live and enjoy life. And the conscience of the people who saved her is absolutely clear.
