She found her real mother after 36 years. Watch their meeting and reunion after years

The difficult decision

This 15-year-old girl had to make a difficult decision when she found out that she was pregnant: to give the newborn up for adoption.

Stacey Faix has a happy life, but has never been able to forget the child placed for adoption in the United States. It didn’t let her to forget everything that happened to her.

Looking for his birth mom

Stephen Strawn, 36, had tried to look for his mother for several years but without success. Birth records had been destroyed by a flood, so it was more difficult for him to find his birth mother.

In November 2017, a new law was passed in the United States and people who were adopted had been given a chance to request the birth certificate of the biological parents. US Army veteran Stephen went through the process. This time he succeeded and meeting with Stace Faix became possible in April 2018.

Meeting of close souls

Stephen was excited and it was an emotional moment for both of them. He asked and discovered every question he was interested in. He learned that she had become pregnantwhen she was only 15 and was supporting army veterans through the organization RGB.

Stephen and Stacey, unknowingly, were part of the same association, one in Ohio and the other in Pittsburgh. He decided to surprise her during the Pittsburgh half-marathon. In the video bellow, the son and the mother seem very excited and emotional.

It was a member of the organization who delivered the note to Stacey. Meanwhile, Stephen, who was standing behind her, came to hug her.

It was a wonderful moment for both of them to meet after that much years. Stephan didn’t have anything negative against his mother and seemed so nice and his mother was thankful for that.
