Of course, there is a sad part in it, and the realization that they had to live apart from each other for some time is making us upset. But the most beautiful part is when they reunite together and that kind of emotions are just priceless. The dog of this story ended up in one of the shelters of Washington. It happened to him when he was just a puppy. He was safe in the shelter and of course received so much love and attention, but he was sad and it seemed like there always was something wrong with him and his mood. Volunteers thought that the reason of his behavior is maybe his very loving family that he had in past, and now he had traumas. And they had an idea of sharing about him on social media and maybe his owners will appear.

What happened next seems just unbelievable. Just a few days later a man called the shelter, and told that three years ago his pet had gone missing and he searched for his puppy everywhere but he couldn’t have any results. He wanted to receive a permission for going to shelter and making sure that it is his missing dog. The next day the man visited the shelter.

You might think that proofs are needed, right? But there was no need of proofs because of their reaction when the man showed up. On smelling his owner’s scent Roscoe became agitated and raced toward the man, wagging his tail in joy. The little guy couldn’t help crying because he had waited for so long. Even he was puppy when he last saw him, he still recognized him and showed his unconditional love. This is how strong a love and a friendship can be between people and animals.

The owner took his pet Rant, that is the doggie’s real name, and now Rant is the happiest dog in the entire state, and lives his best life with his real and deserved owner.
