Siblings reunited after 80 years of being apart. The touching story about the sad fate of the siblings

Losing someone you love is one of the most difficult things in life. But sometimes the life offers unexpected circumstances and we just have to deal with them. This is a story about Bill and Beryl who are grown-ups now but were forced apart in their childhood.

They never gave up hope and always dreamed about them reuniting. But it didn’t happen as soon as they imagined and only after eight decades that day came. The torpedoed ship, the SS Iron Crown was attacked by the Japanese in Australia in 1942 and Stewart, Bill’s and Beryl’s father, passed away in that incident at the age of 64 at the time with 38 others.

This is when Bill and Beryl were left alone and ended up in an orphanage. After that tribulation Bill was sent to the Boys’ Home in Adelaide and Beryl was adopted by a family. They almost haven’t seen each other after that and had only a minute-long meetings during the process of adoption.

They were even blocked from contacting one another for some time, as people thought that being away from biological relatives would help them to deal in the new environment easier.

Bill tearfully remembers how the last time he was told to live her room and that was the last time they saw each other. They never forgot about each other and never lost hope.
