The 52-year-old widow decided to try a makeover after years of struggling. Watch how she changes

Losing someone close to you is an extremely difficult thing in life. And even if we all go through more or less the same stages the pace can be very different. Maggie never expected to lose her husband at 52. She had trouble thinking about the next day and to change her mind and let her thoughts rest, she decided to embark on a makeover.

She lacked self-confidence, avoided the gaze of others and wanted a real makeover. So, in 2019 she chose to contact world-renowned stylist Christopher Hopkins, often better known as “The makeover guy”. For several years, he has been making videos on YouTube, where thanks to different makeovers he brings out the best in people and restores their confidence when they leave the hair salon.

In the video below, it was the turn of Maggie to sit in Christopher’s chair, and everything was very emotional for her. Maggie couldn’t hold back her tears as she began to recount her life story. She talked about her husband who worked as a policeman. But the day before his retirement, he tragically passed away.

This happened a few years ago but now she wanted to move on, and moving into Christopher’s hands was the first step to getting better. Although she still missed her husband, she was ready to start a new chapter in her life, and the change was the first thing she needed.
