The beauty of disabled animals․Photographer captures imperfect beauties

This shows how beautiful the humanity is. The hero of this story is Alex Kearns, a young photographer from Australia who makes extraordinary moments of dogs live forever. In more clear words he takes photos of mutilated or any other animals who have problems that make them look different. In his words sometimes we don’t see the beauty that is next to us only because it is different from what we see every day.

The favorite job

All his photos are now recognized all over the world. His images have toured the whole world. He feels so appreciated since he won nearly 300 awards during his career. But one thing he always mentions everywhere is that he didn’t do anything of that for the awards, it was just what his heart felt and wanted to do. Alex is so happy that everyday more and more people see is pictures and maybe find beauty in them as he does. He volunteers in many world animal protection organizations and does everything to make the world a better place for animals. No wonder that the person who came up with this brilliant idea is an animal lover.

The explanation of the choice

Alex thinks that imperfections and differences are what make any creature be itself. He just wanted to notice that beauty and make others notice it too looking at the pictures he took. He is so happy and proud that he ended up with that decision. But he is sure that anything he chose would for sure be connected with animals

The process

The process of photoshoots is so interesting and unique. Alex finds his models in shelters who are being adopted so rarely. He understands dogs so well and working with them is so easy for him. He just needs to spend some time with them before taking the photos to make connection with them. The book where he collects all the pictures he takes, is called Perfect Imperfection. He later said that would like to change the name since he thought and decided that what he captures aren’t imperfections, they are just differences. But since it was more popular all over the word with that name, he let it stay the same.

Beauty around us

Let’s just appreciate him for showing us the beauties of all animals equally, what he does is very important for humanity without any hesitation. Alex says that he is always going to continue and capture beauty because it is everywhere and sometimes we just don’t notice it. He thinks that photographers are the ones who are responsible to show you that.
