The bride would have wanted her deceased daddy to be there, but a substitute is melting her heart

Whether you want your family to be there for your wedding depends on the relationship you have with your loved ones. This young woman, Jeni Stepien, was about to live her big day and marry her fiancé. But during the ceremony, she would have loved to have her father, who had unfortunately died ten years earlier during an armed robbery, present.

Despite the years that had passed, knowing that all her relatives would be there warmed her heart but also reminded her of this absence. So she contacted Arthur Thomas, the man who received Michael’s heart ten years ago.

Arthur, 72, walked Jeni down the aisle: “When he arrived at the church, he took my fingers and put them on his wrist. Feel his pulse,’ he said. It was amazing, I could actually feel his heart beating. It was so strong,” said Jeni, according to Corriere della Sera.

Arthur is very grateful to Michael. Thanks to him, he saw his children graduate. Maybe he’ll even get to see them get married. For their part, Michael’s family has seen their lives changed overnight with the death of this loving father.

It was the groom, Paul Maenner, who suggested that Jeni call Arthur. For her part, the bride says she is very happy: “I thought he was the perfect person because he has a piece of my dad living with him.”
