That cozy, enchanted sensation you get when you know someone is at home waiting for you is unmatched. A nice example of this is Onnie, a one-year-old cockatoo. This bird is incredibly excited about its owner’s return home and cannot get enough of it.

This video’s primary character is a bird rather than a kid or a dog. This cockatoo welcomes his human “father” at the window, much like a devoted dog waiting for its master. It demonstrates that other animals besides dogs may also provide their owners with unconditional love.

Onnie is a one-year-old cockatoo. When he sees his master coming home, he loses it.

Who came home? the woman behind the camera keeps asking. “Who came home?” the endearing bird appears to respond, “He’s back! He’s returned!” Then Unnie lets out a frantic scream.

Unnie greets Dad as soon as he enters the house, and they begin chatting about the newest rumors. When the man asks Unni, “Didn’t she feed you?” the woman in front of the camera responds, “Don’t tell stories.” The bird bounces on its owner’s hand and says, “No, no.”

Would a dog say the same thing to its human parent that Unnie did, if dogs could talk? The cockatoo, like a giddy child, rushes to get his owner’s whole attention since he obviously has something to say. Now, check out the video bellow to see the beautiful bond between the parrot and his owner!
