The couple adopted 4 children but later learns she is pregnant with quadruplets. The story of the big family

Maxine dreamed of having a big and happy family. After serious infertility issues, she and her husband, Jake Young, were able to have a baby. During this time, they also went to the adoption side and realized their dream by adopting 4 babies. A few days later, however, they learned the unthinkable: Maxine was pregnant.

The couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in May 2016 in Pennsylvania, USA and were looking forward to starting a family. Maxine was eager to have biological children, but she also dreamed of providing a home and a family for orphaned children. She therefore did not hesitate to adopt.

“Jacob was absolutely crazy about having a house full of love and laughter, maybe even a bit of chaos!” Jacob’s mom, ArLette Young said. the family created to raise funds to help their son financially with his large family.

A few months after their wedding, Maxine and Jake contacted an adoption agency. Shortly after, they received a call. They were told about a group of siblings of four children aged 4, 2 and 11 months who needed a foster home. It was not an easy decision for them, but Jacob and Maxine, after some deliberation decided to accept all of them.

However they never gave up on the dream of having biological children. In October 2018 they gave birth to their eldest son, Henry. They were also waiting to be able to officially adopt their 4 other children. With five children, Maxine and Jacob were happy. A few weeks after finalizing the adoption, Maxine felt a bit strange and opted to take a pregnancy test. The couple was shocked to discover that she was pregnant again!

Although the pregnancy was unplanned, it was a pleasant surprise for the couple. But little did they know that the biggest surprise awaited them at the first ultrasound.

“As soon as the doctor started the ultrasound, I could see that she looked amazed. It was very clear when she looked at the screen. She looked at me and said: ‘Looks like four babies are growing!”

They were completely shocked. They were 6 weeks old. 32 weeks into her pregnancy, on July 31, Maxine gave birth to four healthy babies, named Silas Ledger, Theo Alexander, Beck Killian and Cecilia Hudson.

“Meeting the babies was an indescribably pleasant moment for both of us. All the struggles of the last few months were immediately forgotten – the pain and stress no longer meant anything. Everything we went through was worth it.” wrote Maxine on her Facebook.
