“The dog is drowning, help!” Two heroic pet rescue stories

Even though dogs are great swimmers by nature, sometimes they need human help! Yes, our tail-bound friends can drown, too.

Fortunately, there are many caring people in the world who are willing to come to the rescue of dogs. Here, for example, on May 6 in Sochi on Tchaikovsky Street (this is the embankment) there was a whole rescue operation.

People saw a dog floundering in the river bed. The poor thing could not get out and was losing strength by the minute…

Two men who were walking there decided to help the animal! One of the friends went down to get the animal out of the river.

He then handed the dog to the second man, who was standing on the sidewalk, and he put the poor thing on the ground!

The noble act was caught on video by someone, and the video ended up on social media that same day.

But not only in Sochi were people not indifferent!

Here and in Khabarovsk in April 2018 rescued a dog. This time it was a cute owner’s Labrador that needed help, not a stray pooch.

The enthusiastic pet was running around, looking up at the birds in the sky. Not realizing he was in danger, he approached the thin ice. Another jump – and the Labrador was on the fragile surface. In a second, the ice beneath him cracked, and the dog fell into the cold water.

Of course, the poor guy couldn’t get out without help, either.

Fortunately, there were three men watching. Two of them rushed to the aid of the dog. They literally crawled on the thin ice to get to the animal.

The doggie was safely taken out of the “trap,” and a third man, who was waiting on the shore, helped his friends and the dog get ashore.

On social networks and on YouTube, the brave men received a lot of positive words in their addresses.

True, the reward has not yet found these heroes, but we are sure that the good done will certainly return to them a hundredfold!
