The same sad fate befell Clementine. Animal rights activists found the exhausted dog on the roads of California. In wanderings, the dog lost not only its shine of appearance, but also all hope for life. Volunteers placed him in a shelter. Veterinarians, having examined the animal, left a sheet with numerous diagnoses and prone to infections. The dog was not socialized, did not make contact, was poorly fed and was considered hopeless. For 6 months, the animal found its owners, but Clementine did not react in any way. Soon she was placed in line for euthanasia.

The miracle happened two days before the scheduled procedure. Elizabeth Cossart came to the shelter with a strong desire to take Clementine home. She was not embarrassed by the diagnoses and the condition of the animal. She explained that she saw an ad with a photo on the shelter website and felt an irresistible desire to adopt a dog.

Two dogs, Maple and Los, already lived in the house, who gladly accepted the new member of their family and helped him in every possible way to adapt to the new living conditions. Clementine avoided the owners for a long time, approached food only in their absence, did not make sounds, but did not resist trips to the veterinarian, treatment and frequent walking. At first, the animal had to be taken out for a walk due to a weak condition.

It took at least 7 months when the volunteers received a photo of Clementine next to the owners and other pets. The animal looked cheerful, healthy, moderately well-fed, with a smooth and shiny coat. Clementine easily communicated with the owners, walked independently on the territory, had a playful character. The fear and troubles of the past life were successfully forgotten.

The owners have never met a more affectionate, devoted and loving creature. The dog willingly helps around the house, bringing the necessary things. He loves to walk very much, following the exact step of the owner and is immensely bored alone when the owners of the house leave on business. It is possible and necessary, to give a new life to an animal so never give up and never lose your hope!
