An old lady who was a pensioner living in the hospice told her las wish. She wanted to see her beloved horse for the last time in her life. Let’s read their story.

The woman’s name was Jan Holman. She was 68 years old. She lived in a hospice where kind workers took a very good care of her. Unfortunately when she realized that she had very little time she decided to ask for a chance to say goodbye to one of her most lovely creatures. And that was her horse, Charles.

Heartbreaking photos that have been taken show how the horse gently touches his owner. Jan lies in her. It was one of the saddest and at the same time happiest moment in her life.

Jan couldn’t believe in her eyes and was so happy to see the horse right in front of her.

The workers watched them hug and look at each others eyes for some minutes. It was impossible to not get emotional, seeing them together.

A few months ago I was still riding my Charles every day, and now it was a real dream to see him and I saw him- said the upset lady to workers. And of course thanked them for giving her that chance, but all the workers knew that that was the smallest thing they could do for her.

Jan was finally reunited with her horse after a long time of spending time in a distance from each other.

Bob stayed there a bit more and was still touching her gently trying to not hurt her, as if he knew that something was wrong with his beloved owner.

Jan’s husband was also there but didn’t want to comment the situation since it was something so hard for him to watch.

Jan was has a tour guide for almost 38 years, and had active days.

Jan accepted living in the hospice positively and didn’t see anything bad about it. She spent the las period of her life in happiness and surrounded with loving people!
