Recently, the New Zealand Buchanan family posted a video of their entertaining “Quarantine Boogie.” It features the entire family and is devoted to self-isolation.

People all throughout the world are staying home most of the time during the current lockdown. Some people find it hard to get used to this schedule, but others make good use of their newfound “free time.” A humorous “Quarantine Boogie” was recorded by a family in New Zealand and posted to YouTube.

The wonderful funny song “Family Lockdown Boogie” on the current lockdown situation was written by Jack Buchanan’s kid. The clever song’s 80s-inspired sounds are accompanied by quirky dance performed by the entire family throughout the video.

Jack dedicates the song “Quarantine Boogie” to everyone cooped up at home in self-isolation at the start of the video, setting the tone for what’s to come. “This track is dedicated to everyone who is in isolation with their close relatives due to the coronavirus,” he states. A family quarantine is being implemented.

Even Jack’s shirt cracks me up since it so eloquently captures how people view the current circumstances. The text reads, “Everything is Awful.” Still, the Buchanans’ performance isn’t at all bad!

Every member of the family makes an appearance in a number of funny sketches shot around the house. In one of them, Jack looks directly into the camera and sings as a family sits in front of a bathroom sink, fervently washing their hands.
