The man had stopped cutting his hair when his mother died and decided to take an action

We all experience grief in a different way. Some need to quickly turn the page and eliminate all trace of the person, others keep a very present trace and need to show it. This man, for example, was devastated when his mother died and couldn’t get over it. He had decided not to cut his hair anymore, until his wife surprised him on their wedding anniversary.

Toni and Kevin had known each other for 30 years. Kevin had not cut his hair for 5 years. He sported beautiful gray hair that came down almost to his lower back and a white beard that would have made Santa Claus green with envy!

Toni thought her husband looked like one of the ZZ Top band members or even a biker. Jovial and loving, Kevin told Rachael Ray and makeover Stacy London’s program why he stopped cutting his hair

Toni wanted Kevin to get a makeover but was afraid of what he would look like. She just hoped he would like her change. And when she saw him she was amazed. Her hair was donated to make a wig for someone with cancer.
