It is not a secret that people’s creativity can sometimes be just insane. It is unbelievable to think that all the things around us are built and made by humans. Let’s talk about one story that tells about a creative, smart and hardworking man William Schmidt.

This man, being absolutely alone, created a tunnel. His story is very interesting and full of questions. People called the strange and strong man Mole.

Every day, he was doing an unimaginably hard work. He started from the same place everyday, and it was being the last time, people were seeing him that day. He was working till the late night, without stopping.

William began his construction work back in 1900s. He was not interested in anything at that time, and was just digging his tunnel day and night. People couldn’t even imagine, how strong a person had to be, to be able to work that much a day.m

Another question that interested so many people, was from where he took money for doing all that instruction, he needed money to continue working, but he himself looked just like a homeless man.

Residents tried to talk to him and know the answers of the questions they were interested in, but the man kept telling them, that they would soon understand what was all that for.

People curiously followed him, but one day he just disappeared and people noticed it the very first day, when he didn’t show up around the tunnel. They were worried, and started to search for the man.

Some  people walked deep into the tunnel, but after going a few hundred meters they were forced to return, as the structure could be unreliable. So, they returned with nothing.

Only then professional freight forwarders were allowed to venture to the end of the tunnel. It was very surprising for them to find out that the tunnel was more than two kilometers long, which is an insane number for a man doing it all alone.

Everything was clear when professionals found a pyrite residues, which was a clear sign that he found gold and escaped far with his prey. Now everyone really understood why he was doing that, they underestimated the hardworking man, thinking that he did all of that for nothing. But some questions were left not answered…
