The man taunted a wild bison and complained that he was charged by the animal

Lindsey Jones was crossing Yellowstone National Park (USA) with her family when cars began to slow down and stop on the road, while a bison was walking there.

But a motorist, visibly in a hurry and completely unaware, did not hesitate to lack the humility of the big bison, some of which can weigh more than 900kg: he got out of his car to provoke the bison, which until then stood peacefully on the road, and even got out of it by himself.

As soon as the bison spotted him it immediately turned around and prepared to charge it for the first time. He continued his provocations, the bison then began to charge the man a second time. Fortunately for him the bison quickly lost interest, and peacefully turned away.

Yet all the instructions of Yellowstone Park are clear and go in the same direction, it would have been enough for the individual to respect even one of them to avoid risking an incident.

The park already requires visitors to stay at least 25 meters away from bison and elk and 100 meters away from bears and wolves in the first place.

Other park guidelines include:

– Yellowstone’s animals are wild and unpredictable, although they appear to be calm, keeping a safe distance from animals when near trails, roads, parking lots, or in built-up areas;

– If you cannot maintain these distances, turn around and find another route.

Since the hero of this story was extremely lucky not to be harmed by his act, let’s hope that the park authorities will impose the appropriate fines on him so that he never does it again. Don’t forget to share this with your friends and family too! Watch the video bellow!
